Design Cover Page
Dear User ,
Please share your expertise while designing a Cover Page with Styler . I have attached a template for better understanding.
The Coverpage should contains Header , Footer and the CenterContentPage. In the content page the need is to show 3 graphics in 3 different positions.
1. How to position all the 3 graphics in the content region.
2. Is the best practice to design this requirement via Styler or to use image editing tool and just insert it as image.

Anyone using .asm files in Isodraw? Are you using Work Group Manager?
We have installed Work Group Manager to integrate IsoDraw with PDMLink. I want to use .asm files, but I don't get that option when selecting from my workspace - only graphic types are listed. I could choose .pvz files, but I cannot guarantee that all the geometry is updated in the .pvz. How are others creating illustrations in IsoDraw from Creo data?

Content Management (Windchill Updates Reflecting in XML Content )
Greetings all,
My organization wants to implement better content management of technical publications. We are trying to implement the Abrotext Publishing Engine, and we’d like to if “possible” have changes to parts listed made in the PTC Windchill Product to reflect in technical manuals developed in Arbortext XML editor. By doing these we hope to keep technical manuals as current as possible. Is anyone currently doing this? and does anyone know how we can have changes made in Windchill reflect in the editor in an automated manner ?

Insert Graphics
Dear Users,
I am trying to insert graphics (customised image located in C:/XYZ/ABC.jpg) from the "Insert Graphics" in Styler -> Generated Content menu.
But it throws a error "A61191" and does not show my customised image from custom directory. But works well for Arbortext OOTB graphic folder.
Pls advice how to overcome this.

Arbortext Editor and Arbortext Engine Compartibility
Hi,
Plan to migrate the below Documentum Components for
new wisdom 2016 project.
- WebTop - 6.7 SP2 to 6.8 version
- Content Server - 6.7 SP1 to D7.2 SP2 version
- DFS - 6.7 SP1 to D7.2 SP2 version
- Windows OS - 2008 to 2012
Can you please check Arbortext Editor and Arbortext Engine current version (6.0M060 ) or new version (6.1 or if any) Compatibility with WebTop and content server above mention
new version and provide the details on this.

Index / ToC Header
Dear Users.
I have ToC and Index tables in place and it looks perfect. But the header of these pages are "Empty" for ToC and shows last chapter name for Index.
I wish the header shows "TableOfContent" for ToC Page and "Index" for Index page . Guess it should be possible by creating new Page set for ToC and Index. But would be glad to learn of it is possible to show the header info without creating new Pagesets.
Pls assist.

How do i create TOC in a topic .dita file
I am unable to create Table Of Contents(TOC) in a topic file which i have created using PTC Arbortext Editor with styler. How do i insert the TOC markup or tag in my file.
I have attached the following file for your reference, which contain my dita file & style sheet as well.
1) HOW_TO_USE_THIS_MANUAL.dita
2) SHOP_MANUAL.style.

How to trim IsoDraw illustration outside vdc extent
Hello all, we are placing jt files on our templates. We resize and contour fill until it looks correct. We then export to a cgm. We have been having some issue with excessive file size due to all the information outside the vdc extent also converts. We have set editor to not to display anything outside this vdc extext, but the cgm are being quite large slowing down publishing. What we have been doing to alleviate this, is create a box filled with a color then place it over the excess illustration outside the template. Select element, optimize, remove covered elements. Then it removes anything that is covered. We do have a frame around our template. Is there away to automate this procedure?

Creo Illustrate not updating with new pvz
We are using Creo Illustrate 3.0, accessing Windchill through Work Group Manager. When we start a new file we import from Windchill in order to maintain the link to the original PVZ file. However, when the PVZ file is changed based on engineering changing their files, our Creo Illustrate files does not update, nor prompts us that it's changed. This is very frustrating when I know the design intent is for the data to stay linked/related.
Can anyone tell me what we may be doing wrong? Could it be something in Work Group Manager isn't set up correctly?

Introducing Page Break
Dear Users,
I have a Chapter Page (Main) which has to be followed by its contents . What should I do to make the CoverPage(Main) show in a separate page.
One solution I can think of is to introduce a PageBreak but not aware how to do it .Pls advise.

Inserting CGM Files
Dear Users,
If I insert graphics (CGM) in Generated Text it does not appear in the PDF . But the image is displayed in the GeneratedText console from Arbortext Styler.

Toolbar stops working
We have created a few macros in IsoDraw that we have assigned to a toolbar with an icon. What causes this toolbar to stop working? We can still use the menu, macros, then choose our macro and it will run, but if you use the toolbar it does not respond.

Styler : Table Issue
Dear Users,
I have a issue on mapping tags from my source xml to the custom table definition in Styler. Pls see the attachment.
The souce xml contains tags like thead , tr ,td which I am not sure how to associate to a custom table. Whatever combination the assciation made does give me needed output.
Output expected is to have a table with coloumn border (no column line so that table looks only with rows.) ps see attachment2 (output.jpg)
Pls suggest.
